The Schaumburg Boomers are part of the Frontier League, playing professional independent baseball with teams in the northeastern and midwestern U.S. Boomers games are played May through September at Wintrust Field located in Schaumburg.
The Boomers, who won the Central Division and finished 6-3 in the playoffs, have won Frontier League Championships every time they have reached the postseason. The organization won the title in 2013, 2014, 2017 and 2021. The four championships are the most in league history and the team has achieved the feat in nine seasons.
